Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the job holder will be responsible for providing comprehensive administrative support to the Chief Executive Officer. These include planning, organizing, directing and controlling in accordance with laid down policies and procedures, delegated authority and guidelines.

  • Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ensuring the communication, planning schedules, appointments, meetings, reports and associated tasks are wellorganized in the Chief Executive Office.
  • Organizing management and board meetings.
  • Managing and prioritizing workflows to ensure that meeting reports, minutes, correspondence and matters for attention are dealt with in a professional and timely manner.
  • General administrative support to the Chief Executive Office in the controlling of daily activities, diary schedules and set up meetings as requested.
  • Develop and maintain a contact database for clients, vendors, key stakeholders, regulators, etc. and ensure that this is updated on a regular basis.
  • Ensure all documents from Chief Executive Office are professionally styled and presented in accordance with corporate standards.
  • Draft routine correspondence on behalf of the Chief Executive Officer.
  • Ensure that all physical and electronic records including company documents are safely kept and a record of the same retained at all times.
  • Screening telephone calls, enquiries and requests and delegating where appropriate.

Key Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field from a recognized university.
  • Diploma in Secretarial/Administration/Office Management/Public relations will be an added advantage.
  • At least two (2) years’ relevant experience in a similar or equivalent position.
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization competence, with attention to details.
  • Proactive attitude and ability to take initiative and work independently.
  • Excellent knowledge of computer applications.
  • A good team player/leader.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, outgoing personality, and ability to work independently and effectively under pressure and on strict deadlines and in a multicultural setting.
  • Superior oral and written communication skills.

Reporting to the Financial Accountant, the job holder will be responsible for the following:

  • Duties and Responsibilities

  • Obtain on a daily basis, online bank statements and reconcile the same with the Sacco’s cash books.
  • Ensure all entries in the bank statements have been entered in the cash books, particularly, standing orders and direct debits must be posted daily to the respective cash books and the subsequent members’, debtors or income accounts etc.
  • Prepare bank reconciliations and report thereon on daily and monthly basis
  • Keep an updated list of non-check off members and ensure their remittances are monitored daily.
  • Keep an updated list of standing orders, direct debits, and any and other form of remittances outside the Check-off system.
  • Monitor the non- check off customers by making telephone calls, visits, e-mails or any other authorized means of communication to ensure that their accounts are performing normally.
  • Produce relevant reports in respect of non-check off customers, direct debits and standing orders.
  • Produce monthly direct debit and standing order reports showing among others, all customers on direct debit/standing orders remittance mode, amounts successfully collected/pending reason for non-collection and steps taken to collect.
  • Prepare timely payment of statutory deductions on a monthly basis.
  • Prepare timely and accurate payment of RTGS/EFT requests.
  • Conduct Monthly Stock counts of all inventories.
  • Raise journal entries, adjustments, corrections and any necessary amendments to the accounts.
  • Attend to any other duties that you may be allocated.
  • Prepare timely payment of statutory deductions on a monthly basis

Key Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field from a recognized university.
  • Professional: CPA II or equivalent required.
  • At least two (2) years relevant experience at an equivalent position in a financial institution.

Reporting to the Fosa Manager, the job holder will receive and pay out money, keep records of money and negotiable instruments involved in Fosa operations.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Receive and count working cash at beginning of shift.
  • Identify and validate customer details before any transaction.
  • Accept cash and cheques for deposit and check accuracy of deposit slip .
  • Process cash withdrawals
  • Perform services for customers such as ordering bank cards
  • Operate M-pesa Super Agency and retail services
  • Receive and verify loan payments and other Bosa deposits
  • Record all transactions promptly, accurately and in compliance with Fosa procedures
  • Balance cash and cheques in cash till at end of each shift
  • Answer inquiries regarding checking and savings accounts and other Fosa related products
  • Attempt to resolve issues and problems with customer's accounts.
  • Initiate and open new accounts.
  • Explain, advise on and promote Fosa products and services to customer.s
  • PIdentify referral opportunities and make relevant referrals.
  • Ensure compliance with all internal controls and established policies and procedures.

Key Qualifications and Skills

  • A Diploma in Banking or CPA II will be an added advantage.
  • Professional: CPA II or equivalent required.
  • At least two ( 2) relevant experience in Fosa operations.
  • Good listening and communication. skills
  • A Customer service orientation.
  • Honesty and integrity.

Reporting to the Branch Manager, the job holder will be responsible for business development in terms of recruitment of new members, member retention through relationship management, group and company visitation.

  • Duties and Responsibilities

  • Formulating to grow the Sacco’s business line.
  • Researching organisations and individuals to identify new leads and potential new markets
  • Ensuring regular, timely and effective member communication.
  • Contacting potential members to establish rapport and set up meetings
  • Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives
  • Contacting members to inform them about new developments in the Society’s products
  • Negotiating and renegotiating with existing and potential customers
  • Developing sales goals for the Society and ensuring they are met
  • Maintaining fruitful relationships with existing customers
  • Ensuring that all departments work towards fulfilling the customer expectation and organizational goals.
  • Ensuring recovery of both performing and Non-performing MFI loans
  • Providing timely customer feedback on Sacco operations
  • Preparing periodic reports

Key Qualifications and Skills

  • A Bachelor’s degree in any Business-related field -a bias in Marketing is preferred.
  • A Diploma in Marketing will be an added advantage.
  • At least two (2) years relevant experience at an equivalent position in a Sacco/financial institution.
  • Mature, self-driven and result oriented individual.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work for long hours.
  • In-depth knowledge of the industry and its current events.
  • Ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines.
